FIA announces crackdown against social media fraudsters

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has announced to launch a major crack down against those whose are swindling netizens by using fake IDs on social media platforms.

According to the FIA , cyber crime officials are all set to arrest the networks behind such fake IDs.

The fake IDs on social networking sites are meant to wrongfully take money from the social media users. The numbers of such fake accounts are increasing day-by-day.

The FIA Cyber Crime Wing has received more than 3,000 written complaints alleging fleecing from people through social media fraud in 2021.
