Federal govt releases Rs429.17 bln for development projects under PSDP

The Federal government has approved the allocation of 429.17 billion rupees for existing and new social sector projects under its Public Sector Development Program this year.
According to data released by the Ministry of Planning and Development, the government has allocated 190.87 billion rupees for federal ministries under its development programme, 136.68 billion rupees for companies and 33.7 billion rupees for special areas.

The government released 26.78 billion rupees from those allocations for security enhancement in the country.
The government has also allocated 20.75 billion rupees for Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan has 12.8 billion rupees.
