ISLAMABAD: A meeting of federal cabinet on Tuesday in Islamabad, with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair, reviewed measures for providing relief to common men.
The meeting discussed and approved relief measures for the common man.
Chairing a meeting on Feb 10, the Prime Minister had stated to go to any extent to provide relief to the masses especially the poor and the salaried class.
Overall economic and political situation was also discussed in the cabinet meeting.
‘Ensuring ease of doing business, promoting tourism govt’s top priority’
Talking to Managing Director of prominent Advisory and Consultant Company McKinsey Kevin Sneader in Islamabad on Tuesday, PM Imran Khan has said ensuring ease of doing business and promoting tourism are the foremost priorities of the government.
Imran Khan said present government is committed to provide every possible facilitation to the business community to promote economic activity in the country. This, he said, will ensure socio economic development.
Regarding tourism, the Prime Minister said there is great potential of tourism in Pakistan. He said promotion of tourism will not only help us earn foreign exchange but also create immense job opportunities for the youth. He said the opinion of McKinsey will be welcomed in promotion of tourism especially development of infrastructure.
Imran Khan said the people are bearing the brunt of the maladministration and flawed policies of past rulers in the energy sector. He said checking losses in the energy sector and reducing burden on the masses is top priority of the government.
