 FBR decides not to auction confiscated foreign cigarettes

The FBR has decided not to auction the confiscated foreign cigarettes.

According to FBR, foreign smuggled cigarettes will be destroyed. The packets of confiscated cigarettes do not have the policy guidelines of the Ministry of Health.

The FBR said that the relevant provision of the Customs Rules 2001 has been amended and confiscated cigarettes will be disposed of as per the board decision.
