LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Information Fayaz ul Hassan Chohan on Monday said that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz should also be arrested for advertently violating sanctity of Quaid’s Mausoleum in Karachi.

In a statement, Fayaz said that end of deliberate violation of sanctity of Quaid’s Mausoleum had to be arrest of PML-N leader Captain (Retd) Safdar. He said all the nation was awaiting that Maryam Nawaz might be ashamed of her act at the mausoleum and seek apology over it, but it did not happen.

“Maryam Nawaz should have sought apology over looting Pakistan and promoting ideology of the Indian establishment, during her visit to the mausoleum,” he said.

The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader said that the PML-N vice president had kept her, her father’s and her family’s name ‘vote’ and these days she kept repeating everywhere that “give respect to vote”.

He said those seeking respect for themselves were satisfied over disrespecting the resting place of the founder of Pakistan.
