LAHORE: Lashing out at Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry for criticizing Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar’s performance, Minister for Information Punjab Fayyazul Hassan Chohan on Friday said Fawad should be careful while choosing his words against his own party leader.

“Every month, Fawad tries to be a hero. He has crossed the limit of violation of party’s discipline. It is not a right of the federal minister to establish an evil opinion regarding the Punjab CM,” Fayyaz Chohan said.

He asked the federal minister to focus on giving performance in his ministry rather than spewing criticism on others. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan was one hundred percent satisfied with the performance of the provincial chief minister.

The provincial minister said he would have dealt with Fawad the way he did with the opposition, if he was not his friend. “There’s a limit for everything. Fawad Chaudhry has not yet learned how to talk about somebody from his party’s ranks,” he added.

Fayyaz said the federal minister had always been confused. He’s a habitual irritator, he maintained. “One day he would be saying something against religious people and the other day he would say something bad about Buzdar. He should rather focus on preparing a Ghori II or Ghori III in competition with India’s Chandriyal II,” he said.
