ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said that Muhammad Aslam Jinnah was not a grandson of the Quaid e Azam.
Aslam, who died at the age of 70 in Karachi on Jun 22 after a protracted illness, had in later years of his life claimed himself to be grandson of Founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Quaid e Azam had only one daughter, Dina Wadia, who spent her whole life in India after her love marriage with an Indian businessman Nebille Wadia, a member of old Parsi family.
Aslam Jinnah spent his entire life in poverty in North Karachi area of the megapolis. The Sindh government had started providing him financial aid for the last 10 years.
