Fans laud Azhar Ali for his ‘services to Pakistan’ cricket as he retires from test cricket

Pakistan’s former test captain Azhar Ali on Friday announced his retirement from international cricket saying, the test match against England would be his last.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi, test cricketer said that tomorrow’s Karachi test will be the last match of his career.

“I am grateful to them, I request them to continue supporting Pakistan cricket in the same way,” he said to his fans.

While speaking about hurdles he faced during his career, he furthered: Everything comes to its end, I suffered from injuries for four to five years, my family sacrificed a lot for my career but now I will be able to give them enough time.”

Following the announcement by test batter, cricket fans applauded Azhar for his services to Pakistan cricket throughout his 96-match career.

Don't forget Azhar Ali's role in CT 17. Especially his performance in the semi final against England and in the final against India.
