Famous stage actor, comedian Tariq Teddy passes away
Well-known stage actor and comedian Tariq Teddy passed away this morning after a prolonged illness at the age of 46 in Lahore.
Teddy’s son told the media that his father was suffering from pulmonary and liver-related illness, and was admitted to Pakistan Kidney & Liver Institute and Research Centre for the last 10 days.
He was put on a ventilator after reports that his liver had stopped working, a life-threatening condition resulted due to long-term inflammation.
Tariq Teddy was born on August 12, 1976, in Faisalabad. He was one of the best stage actors who was also a source of humour to bring smiles to people’s faces.
It should be noted that the Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi had also announced financial assistance for the treatment of actor Tariq Teddy.
The funeral prayers for the late comedian will be held in Lahore today.
