Family’s only bread winner shot dead by robbers over resistance in Karachi

Merciless robbers killed a father of 2 children and the only bread winner of the family after he refused to give his mobile phone to the street criminals near the Sarjani town area of Karachi.
According to the police, a young man named Amjad was sitting outside near his house in Gulshan Shiraz area of Sarjani Town when armed bandits came to rob him.
A scuffle and verbal altercation took place between the robbers and Amjad, after which the robber gunned down the young man.
According to the police, the deceased Amjad owned mobile phone shop and was the father of 2 children.
Earlier, 20-year-old Hafiz Osama lost his life for resisting robbery in Karachi’s Shadman town area.
The deceased Osama was riding a motorcycle with his friends. He stopped the motorcycle to ask for directions, as soon as the motorcycle stopped, 2 robbers tried to rob and on resistance they opened fire, due to which Hafiz Osama died.
In separate incident, a man named Junaid, who reached mortuary services to buy a shroud for the burial of his nephew was deprived of a motorbike in the Korangi area of Karachi.
Almost 350 people have been killed over robbery resistance in different areas of the metropolis during the first eight month of the ongoing year.
