The date has been announced for engagement of daughter of late former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, with son of a US-based businessman Younas Chaudhry, Mahmood Chaudhry.
Mahmood himself was born with a silver spoon, nevertheless his father was a common village boy in Punjab until he arrived in Canada first and then moved to the United States to establish his own business and earned a fortune.
Younas Chaudhary is a “visionary businessman with foresight in a highly volatile oil and gas industry”. Not just he is a successful businessman, but a philanthropist as well who runs a charity since 2004 with the name of YBC Foundation, where Y stands for Younas, B for Bushra (his wife) and C for Chaudhry.
Mahmood’s mother helps in running the affairs of the charity which provides help to low-income people, elderly, ailing and unemployed single parents.
Engagement of Bakhtawar and Mahmood Chaudhry will take place on Nov 9 at Bilawal House in Karachi. The participants of the ceremony have been asked to observe the COVID-19 SoPs on this occasion.
“All attendees are requested to please email a scanned copy of their negative COVID-19 PCR test result 24 hours prior to attendance. This is a mandatory requirement for security clearance,” the announcement read.
This should be noted that Bakhtawar herself has later clarified that the US-based family, that media reports including this one talked about, has nothing to do with her and she has shared details of the real Chaudhry Mahmood here.
