Faisal Javed asks PCB to take notice of Muhammad Amir’s concern
ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting Senator Faisal Javed Khan has asked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to enquire and solve the matter of Muhammad Amir.
On Thursday, Muhammad Amir’s shocking statement revealed that he announced his retirement from cricket as the environment at his job was being a reason for mental torture.
Javed has advised Amir not to take any step in an emotional state and he may reconsider his decision as he is still eligible to be a part of international cricket.
According to the PCB, Amir has confirmed his resignation to PCB Chief Executive Officer Wasim Khan.
