National songs are a way of expressing love for a country in the hearts of a nation. They are an encouragement that someone needs to express affection for one’s motherland.

Here are some of the evergreen National songs every Pakistani can relate to on the 73rd Independence of Pakistan.

Mehdi Hasan’s Ye Watan Tumhara hai is an all-time classic in which his voice holds the purest feelings.

Watan ki Mitti, by Nayyara Noor, is one of the most loved national songs of Pakistan.

Another beautiful national song by a legendary singer Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, ‘Mera peghaam Pakistan’ is a lovely memory of millions across the country.

Vital Sign’s ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’ is another song that is acknowledged not only in Pakistan but it was ranked in the BBC World Service international poll of popular songs.
