Events at Karachi Arts Council suspended until further notice

Due to the coronavirus outbreak the Karachi Arts Council has agreed to cancel all planned activities and talks.

A representative of the arts council confirmed this.

He informed local media sources that the president of the arts council, Ahmed Ali Shah, took this decision saying that until the situation is under control, or the government makes an announcement, no events will take place inside.

According to Shah, the decision was taken for the people who regularly visit the arts council.
