Engin Altan cancels agreement with Kashif Zameer
LAHORE: Turkish actor Engin Altan has reportedly cancelled the agreement with TikTok star and Punjab-based businessman Kashif Zameer Sheikh.
Daily Pakistan has quoted local media as reporting that the protagonist of Dirilis: Ertugrul has also indefinitely called off his second tour to Pakistan, which was expected to take place in January 2021.
He said that visiting Pakistan was on his agenda, however it could not happen anytime soon.
In an interview with Yasir Shami, Kashif Zameer had apprised that he had struck a deal worth Rs170 million with the Turkish star and had already given half of the amount to him and will hand him over rest of the money on his second visit to the country before mid of January.
On Dec 16, Kashif Zameer was arrested in a case pertaining to threatening to kill some journalists in Lahore.
He had reportedly threatened the journalists for reporting negatively against him after he hosted ‘Ertugrul’.
Kashif Zameer had recently brought famous Turkish actor Engin Altan to Pakistan on a sponsored visit. He had allegedly denied to pay the protagonist of drama serial ‘Dirilish: Ertugrul’ the money he had promised him under a deal.
The suspect had eight cases against him including of fraud, betrayal of trust, car theft and robbery.
