During the hearing, the advocate for the accused stated that the whole case was based on a concocted and fabricated story, claiming that there was no truth in it whatsoever and that it was just a misunderstanding.

In observance of Sindhi Culture day, different rallies were taken out in Karachi which later turned violent.
