In a statement, Rana Sanaullah said that Khan’s lawyer, Salman Safdar, did not claim in his report that medical treatment was denied when Imran complained of his condition.

Imran Khan's eyes were first examined by the head of the Ophthalmology Department at PIMS, Dr. Arif, on August 29th,2025, on account of complaints of reduced vision.

Safdar stated further," I requested them not to discuss anything related to the report," Safdar said. "I did not tell them anything, and they respected my opinion."

“We were not allowed to meet them despite it being the scheduled day,” Mazari said.

At 4:30 am, the PTI said Aleema Khan was detained, without giving information about the other two sisters.
