 Electricity prices increase by Rs 3.27 for K-E consumers

ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased the price of electricity by Rs 3.27 for K-Electric consumers.

NEPRA has issued notification of increase in electricity prices. According to the notification, electricity has been increased by Rs 3.27 per unit for Karachi consumers.

NEPRA said, the increase in electricity prices was in line with the January fuel price adjustment.

According to NEPRA officials, the increase in electricity prices will be applied in the April bills and will impose an additional burden of Rs 3.58 billion on K-Electric consumers.
