ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday asked voters to submit forms for registration, transfer, objection, deletion and correction in particulars of their votes at its display centers by January 24.
In this regard, the ECP in collaboration with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has started a campaign to guide voters through public service message and SMS, so that they could ensure correct registration of their votes.
According to the ECP spokesperson, voters can get information of their vote registration and display center by sending their CNIC number on 8300 through SMS.

He said form for registration and transfer of vote was available at display centres, office of the district election commissioner, registration officers and on the website of the election commission.
On Jan 17, ECP has suspended memberships of 318 parliamentarians, including 70 members of the National Assembly and 12 senators over failure to submit their annual asset details.
The memberships of some sitting ministers have also been suspended. The National Assembly has a total number of 342 members while the Senate has 104 members.
115, 40, 21 and 60 members of the Punjab Assembly, Sindh Assembly, Balochistan Assembly and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly respectively have also been temporarily deprived of their membership.
Federal Law Minister Farogh Naseem is also among the senators whose membership have been suspended. While memberships of Religious Affairs Minister Noorul Haq Qadri, Federal Minister for National Health Services Aamir Mehmood Kiani, Federal Minister for Housing and Works Tariq Bashir Cheema and Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul have also been suspended.
