Eight seconds’ ignorance of covid-19 precautions leads to paying Rs0.56 mn
A Philippine’s citizen residing at a hotel of Taiwan’s Kaohsiung city was slapped a fine of $3,500 (about Rs565,000) for neglecting the precautions and standard operating procedures of covid-19.
According to Taiwan’s rules, no individual affected with coronavirus is allowed to leave his room, not for even a second until he recovers, no matter how long he has quarantined himself.
Taiwan has been admired and counted among those countries who have followed precautionary measures the most. Only 7 deaths and 716 cases are recorded in Taiwan which is comparatively low from the other parts of the world.
More than 72.64 million people have contracted coronavirus, while 1.61 million COVID-19 deaths have been reported up till now across the world.
Nevertheless, around 47.3 million covid-19 patients have recovered whereas, 20.16 patients are under treatment at hospitals.
For now, America is at the worst in terms of coronavirus deaths and recoveries. India has been ranked on second number midst of most affected countries by covid-19.
