Eight lawmakers banned for bringing Charpoy in Sindh Assembly
KARACHI: Eight lawmakers have been banned by Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani for bringing Charpoy in Sindh Assembly.
According to the sources, the eight banned lawmakers include PTI parliamentary leader Bilal Ahmed, Saeed Ahmed, Arsalan Taj, Muhammad Ali Aziz, Adeel Ahmed, Nawaz Jadoon, Raja Azhar.
The protesting members brought a “folding charpoy” during a session in Sindh Assembly.
Umar Farooq has been directed to inquire the incident completely and submit a report.
Earlier, on Monday, the law makers brought the Charpoy in Sindh Assembly and termed it a coffin of democracy .
The behaviour was against the rules and procedures of the provincial legislature, according to Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani.
