KARACHI: All public and private educational institutions from secondary and above are opening in Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from today (Monday).
The schools, colleges and universities have been asked to strictly implement the Standard Operating Procedures against Covid-19 to prevent the spread of deadly virus.
Sindh Corona Task Force had decided to reopen educational institutions of Sindh for grade 9th and above from June 7 (today) with strict SOPs. All staff members have been directed be get themselves vaccinated.
Earlier the Sindh government had announced that school would stay closed till June 6 in 12 districts including Hyderabad, Karachi, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Dadu, and Badin.
On the other hand, the Sindh Task Force on Coronavirus has decided that all business markets and shops will remain open till 8:00pm from June 7 across the province.
The decision was taken in a meeting with Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in the chair, in Karachi.
The Sindh chief minister had said the vaccination of all the staff of business centres was mandatory and vaccination certificate would be checked after 15-days.
