 Educational institutes in Abbottabad may be targeted: threat alert

ABBOTTABAD: Abbottabad police has warned the educational department that Afghan terrorists might target educational institutes in the district.

The educational department has also issued a notification apprising schools and other educational institutes in Abbottabad to take precautionary measures against terrorist threat.

“Inform police control room immediately, if any suspicious activity is noticed,” directed the educational department.

The educational institutes have been asked to post an armed security guard before school building. Surveillance cameras should be installed and record of every person visiting the building should be maintained.
