ECP takes notice of Imran Khan’s Anti-CEC statements

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has taken notice of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Anti-Chief Election Commissioner statements.
According to details, the Election Commission of Pakistan has requested the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) to provide them with the records of Imran Khan’s speech he did in Peshawar workers convention.
Besides, the ECP has also sought record of statements of Leader of Opposition in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh, Khurram Sher Zaman and Senator Ijaz Chaudhry.
Earlier, former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja by accusing him of being biased and planted agent of PML-N.
