 Earthquake shakes Islamabad and surrounding areas

ISLAMABAD: Earthquake tremors in and around the country’s capital have created fear among citizens.

According to details, tremors were felt in and around Islamabad due to which many citizens came out of their homes, fortunately no loss of life or property was reported.

The epicenter was reported at 13.5 km south of the epicenter, according to the US Geological Survey.

The depth of the quake was 28 km. A magnitude 5.1 earthquake was felt in and around Swat in recent days, with a depth of 120 km and the epicenter of the Hindu Kush mountain range.

It may be recalled that a few days ago, tremors were also felt in Karachi, the capital of Sindh province. According to the Meteorological Department, the depth of the tremors was recorded at 10 km. The epicenter was 40 km north of the city. Gadap was.

A month ago, tremors were felt in several cities, including Peshawar and Swat.
