Sheikha Latifa, one of the ruler of Dubai’s daughters, has released a video from a barricaded villa.

The video was published by BBC in which the princess stated, “I’m being held hostage here and this villa has become a jail for me.”

She further revealed that all the windows and doors were shut and she wasn’t allowed to open them.

The princess said the only place she could lock her in was the bathroom, from where she was able to shoot the video and release it.

Moreover, The Free Latifa campaign has been launched by her supporters who demand her freedom.

The lawyer of Latifa and the founder of ‘The Free Latifa campaign’, David Haigh has registered a petition for Latifa’s immediate release and said that “a horrendous period of parental and human rights abuse that has significantly damaged the reputation of the UAE should end”.

Cautiously, Latifa revealed that the police officers are positioned outside and inside the villa.
