LAHORE: The Lahore district administration has started door-to-door coronavirus vaccination in Lahore on Monday.
In the style of the polio campaign, teams will go door-to-door to vaccinate people against COVID-19.
Lahore Deputy Commissioner Mudassar Riaz said that the drive had begun on regular basis from Monday. On a daily basis, about 65,000 citizens will be targeted for vaccination, he said.
Mudassar Riaz said that they were aiming to vaccinate all the people above 18 years of age. Citizens should fully cooperate with the vaccination teams and get themselves vaccinated to stem Coronavirus from spreading, he said.
32 more people died of COVID-19 and 3,752 new cases were reported across Pakistan over the last 24 hours.
According to the latest statistics, 49,947 tests were carried out during this period.
