Dollar continues to rise, reaches record high of Rs.188

In view of the current political turmoil in the country, the dollar continues to rise and in a single day, the dollar has risen by Rs2.22 to Rs188.50.
In the interbank market, the dollar has become uncontrollable and during trading, the dollar has risen by Rs 2.22 to Rs 188.35 while in the open market, the dollar has reached Rs 188.50.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange continues to decline and the 100 Index is down by 208 points at 43903.
The dollar has appreciated by more than Rs 11 in the country since March 4, while the rupee has depreciated by 19.50% so far in the current financial year.
