A documentary about Pakistan’s first and only Nobel Laureate in Science, Dr Abdus Salam which was released in 2018 will be available on Netflix from October 1st.
Dr Abdus Salam won the Nobel prize in 1979 in Physics with Sheldon Glashow and Steven Weinberg for his contribution to the electroweak unification theory and became the very first Pakistani to achieve this distinction, and only the fourth from the subcontinent.
Directed by Brooklyn based film director, Anand Kamalakar and produced by Kailoola Production, the documentary, titled as Salam – The First ****** Nobel Laureate was screened at the South Asian International Film Festival, Chicago South Asian Film Festival and DFW South Asian Film Festival.
