Do you know how much was spent on the opening ceremony of PSL?

The inaugural ceremony of the 7th edition of PSL at the National Stadium Karachi started with the national anthem. After the national anthem, a documentary on the history of Pakistan cricket was also shown.

Later, world-renowned singer Atif Aslam and singer Aima Baig evoked the magic of their voices. 

At the end of 20-minute opening ceremony, there were fireworks, stage lighting and beautiful lightings around the ground. 

The keynote message of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and Chairman PCB Rameez Raja regarding PSL was shown in the form of video after which the inauguration ceremony came to an end. 

Rs 25 million was spent on the opening ceremony of the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL 7). 

According to sources, more than Rs 200 million was spent on last year’s virtual opening ceremony, while minor part of the 2021 opening ceremony was also recorded in Istanbul. 

In addition, last year’s virtual opening ceremony was recorded on television.
