“Do not speak about Pakistan’s division,” PM warns Imran Khan
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has warned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan that he may do his politics, but not dare to speak about the “division of Pakistan.”
The remarks were made by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in a Twitter post which referred to Imran’s interview with Sami Ibrahim, anchorperson Bol News.
In the said interview, the PTI chief urged the Establishment to make the right decisions and warned that if Pakistan lost its nuclear capability, the country would be divided into three parts.
In an interview aired last night, he said that the current political situation is a problem not only for the country but also for the Establishment.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said in a tweet that, if any proof was needed that Imran Khan was ineligible for public office, then his latest interview was enough.
He warned the PTI chairman to “do your politics but never dare to talk about the partition of Pakistan”.
In a separate statement issued from the PML-N’s Twitter account, the prime minister said that Imran’s remarks were proof that the PTI chief was involved in a conspiracy and not politics.
He said that Imran was spreading chaos due to his frustration and sick mentality and his statement was similar to that of the enemies of Pakistan.
Shahbaz Sharif said that this was not just a statement but a conspiracy to ignite chaos and division in the country.
“Losing power does not mean you have to fight against Pakistan, its allies and its institutions,” he added.
He warned Imran not to attack the federal and national institutions, and not to go beyond the limits set by law and the constitution.
The Prime Minister said that the nation would not accept such nefarious schemes at any cost and would not allow them to succeed. He vowed to defeat such nefarious aims.
