Sources said an accident took place between vehicle Catt of police station’s constable and a vehicle of son of KP transport minister on Jul 25. Following which, the police officials intercepted the latter’s car, so the minister’s son, Khalid Aziz, had an exchange of hot words with them.
Khalid Aziz lodged a complaint against the police officials at Cantt police station. The KP minister put pressure on police to add section of abduction against the police officials, however the DIG refused to do so. Abdul Ghafoor Afridi did not take action against his colleagues, even after the IG directed him to do so. The IG transferred the police officer from the district and changed his service to OSD.
