ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Friday said the destroyers of the country’s economy had flown to London.
In a thread of tweets in response to the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s criticism against the government, she said the government had fulfilled its legal responsibility by writing a letter to the British government for deportation of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Meanwhile, talking to a local news channel, the special assistant said there was no serious matter between the Muttahida Qaumi Movement- Pakistan (MQM-P) and the ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said PM Imran Khan was keen to provide better facilities to people of Karachi and all out efforts were being made in this connection.
She said PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif should have invited his party leaders to London to find a medical facility for treatment of his elder brother instead of sending them to Karachi.
Firdous said only those elections were transparent for the PML-N in which their party form a government.
