Dera Ghazi Khan has Pakistan’s second-largest camel market
The second-largest camel market in Pakistan has been set up in Dera Ghazi Khan where herring and breed camels are available for sale.
10,000 white, brown, and black camels have been brought to Saji Mandi in Dera Ghazi Khan. Camel owners say that the number of buyers is very low due to the fear of corona and there is a fear that the year’s hard work will be in vain.
The camel owners said that the animals are fed with fodder like gram, porridge, and much more but they are not expected to get a good price this time. Consumers who came to the market say that this animal is beyond their purchasing power.
In this area, camels of all colors and breeds are brought from Cholistan, Thar, and tribal areas in the market decorated till Eid-ul-Adha.
