Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri adjourned NA session till April 3rd

Islamabad: The crucial session of the National Assembly started under the chairmanship of Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri, while deputy speaker did not discussed on the no-confidence motion and adjourned the session till 11:30 am on Sunday April 3.
The agenda of today’s session of the National Assembly included a debate on the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister and opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif was to start the debate.
The no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan has lost the confidence of the House, Imran Khan can no longer hold the position of Prime Minister.
Before the arrival of the members in the National Assembly, a joint meeting of the parliamentary parties of the opposition parties was also held in the chamber of Leader of the Opposition in which 18 dissident national assembly members of PTI also participated.
PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzaib said that 173 members of opposition parties attended the meeting of the parliamentary party while dissident members were in addition.
On the other hand, the opposition has demanded that the voting for a new Prime Minister be included in the agenda of the National Assembly. The petition of the opposition has been submitted with the signature of Leader of the Opposition Mian Shahbaz Sharif.
