KARACHI: Australian sports journalist Dennis Freedman enjoyed desi food at eateries around Karachi’s Burns Road as he embarked on an exploratory stroll in one of the host cities of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020.

From driving a Mehran on the bustling streets of Karachi to playing E Sharp’s O Shabana on Burns Road with a guitar, the journalist seemed to be having a wonderful time getting to know the city.

The Aussie journalist was seen driving a Mehran while documenting his walk around Burns Road in search of some ‘desi’ food to munch on.

Freedman writes articles and podcasts pertaining to cricket. His work has appeared in Dawn and Geo, and is popular for his trolls about Indian cricket fans on social media.

The journalist also starred in a documentary called Dennis Does Pakistan (2019) which was also written by him. The short film explores the bond between Pakistan and its love for cricket.
