 Dengue continues to take a toll on the people of Karachi

KARACHI: Dengue takes two more lives in Karachi and one life in Rawalpindi.

On Wednesday, a woman, who was a resident of Landhi and admitted in Civil Hospital, Karachi passed away. Another 28-year-old Kanwal, lost her life battling with dengue on Tuesday night. She was shifted to the ICU after her condition worsened.

A third dengue death was reported in Rawalpindi, taking the toll to 10 in Punjab. Hospitals in the province keep receiving new patients every day despite the government’s efforts to control the disease outbreak.
