LAHORE: Dejected singer Rabi Pirzada has bid adieu to the showbiz industry three days after her objectionable videos had gone viral and her name was trending on Twitter (Pakistan) on top.

“I, Rabi Pirzada, hold myself aloof from the showbiz (from now onwards). May Allah (SWT) absolve my sins and soften people’s hearts in my favor,” Rabi Pirzada tweeted. She also quoted an ayat from Quran which says, “You (Allah) honor whom You will and You humble whom You will.”

میں رابی پیرذادہ شوبز سے کنارہ کشی اختیار کرتی ہوں ۔ اللہ تعالیٰ میرے گناہوں کو معاف کرے۔ اور میرے حق میں لوگوں کا دل نرم کرے۔

Earlier, she had also approached the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)’s Cybercrime Wing requesting it to delete all her objectionable videos from social media. The FIA’s Cybercrime Wing had promptly taken action on this and made the videos removed from public social media platforms.
