Defamation case: FIA dismisses Sana Javed’s complaint

The defamation complaint filed by actress Sana Javed in the cyber-crime wing was closed due to lack of evidence.
Last month, Sana Javed had lodged a complaint with the cyber-crime Wing in which she alleged that she was being targeted with a plot on social media.
According to the actress, showbiz personalities are running a campaign against her.
In this regard, FIA Cyber Crime Sindh chief Imran Riaz had started an immediate investigation, but now Imran Riaz has said in his statement that no evidence of defamation was found against the actress.
In a statement released on Twitter, Imran Riaz said that the FIA’s legal team had thoroughly reviewed the evidence provided and that the material found was related to the sharing of personal experiences of those who worked with her during the work.
He said that now the complaint of the actress has been closed.
Imran Riaz further said that even the technical team could not find any evidence of planning campaign against Sana Javed on social media.
Earlier, many make-up artists, models and actors of the showbiz industry had accused Sana Javed that the attitude of the actress towards them on the set is very inappropriate while the actress also insults them.
Sana Javed had termed the allegations against her as a “Social media campaign” and had filed a petition in the Cyber Crime Wing.
