The Sindh government has decided to close the field isolation center for coronavirus in the province.
A meeting of Karuna Virus Emergency Fund was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah in which it was decided to close the Expo Center and Field Isolation Center at PF Museum.
According to Chief Secretary Sindh, approval will be sought by sending a summary to Sindh Chief Minister. Isolation centers should be closed as there is space in hospitals for coronavirus patients.
The Sindh government had set up a corona virus emergency fund in March in view of the corona virus, in which more than Rs 3.64 billion was collected.
During the meeting, Chief Secretary Sindh said that a field isolation center was set up from the fund and PPAs, kits, ventilators and medicines were procured. At present, there is Rs. 80 crore in the Corona Virus Emergency Fund.
