TEHRAN: In Iran, death toll from the coronavirus outbreak rose by 149 to 1,433.
An official of health ministry in a tweet said that total number of confirmed infections had increased by 1,237 to 19,644.
In a video message, United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres has called for a coordinated global response to fight the deadly coronavirus.
He urged the governments to fully meet the appeals of the world health Organization and give strongest support to its multilateral efforts to fight the pandemic.

He said the virus could kill millions of people if it was allowed to spreads in the most vulnerable parts of the world.
UN Secretary General said global solidarity was a moral imperative and in every one’s interest.
Antonio Guterres said it had been proven that coronavirus was containable, but for that coordinated, decisive and most innovative efforts were required at global level especially from the world’s leading economies.
