 Dean Jones, Darren Sammy reach out to heartbroken Qalandars fan in a Twitter post

Head coach of Karachi Kings Dean Jones and Peshawar Zalmi skipper Darren Sammey retweeted a video of a saddened young Lahore Qalandars fan crying after his team was defeated by Islamabad United on Sunday.

In a Twitter post, Jones asked the child to support Kings while also promising that he would be given match tickets if he does.

Peshawar skipper Sammy also retweeted the video and asked the child to support his team.

In a video that went viral on social media, the child can be seen suggesting how Qalandars could have avoided the defeat. The child says Lahore Qalandars should have sent Shaheen Afridi to bowl the last over instead of Usman Shinwari.

In the 7th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Islamabad United beat Lahore Qalandars by one wicket.
