David Warner, Kane Williamson observe fast during IPL 2021

Australian cricketer David Warner and New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson observed fast with Afghanistan’s spinner Rashid Khan in India.

The two Sunrisers Hyderabad players joined their team members in observing fast during the IPL 2021. SRH players Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Mohammad Nabi and Khaleel Ahmed are also fasting as holy month of Ramadan is underway.

Rashid Khan shared the news of Warner and Williamson’s fasting on his Instagram account by sharing a video. Tagging both the players, he wrote, “Aftari these 2 legends were fasting with us today.”

“Good. I’m very thirsty and very hungry. My mouth is so dry,” David Warner said when the Afghani player asked him about how he was fasting.
