Daren Sammy calls Javed Afridi his brother, Peshawar Zalmi ‘baby’

ISLAMABAD: Peshawar Zalmi skipper and the most beloved foreign player of the Pakistan Super League Daren Sammy has refuted media reports of his differences with the franchise management.
The rumours had surfaced after one of his tweets that the Peshawar Zalmi management was unhappy with him. He had tweeted, “I’ve learnt that you are important until you’ve completed your role. #dealingwithhumans.” This had raised eyebrows of media persons forcing them to look into if there was something fishy going on.
“I can’t believe that the media would think that my bro @JAfridi10 and I would ever have an issue. I’m actually laughing at this. Listen guys, I love this man as my own brother. Are u guys serious? @PeshawarZalmi is my baby and nothing comes between us. Absolutely nothing,” he clarified in a tweet.
Sammy has recently been awarded honorary citizenship of Pakistan on request of Javed Afridi for his unmatched services for revival of international cricket in the country.
