 CTD personnel kill four terrorists in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel of Peshawar police shot dead four terrorists in exchange of fire in Ghaziabad area on Kohat road.

On a tip-off, the law enforcers carried out a raid at a house where the terrorists had holed up. Meanwhile, the terrorists opened fire on them. In response, the security personnel also opened fire leaving the saboteurs dead.

Police have recovered four Kalashnikovs, six hand grenades and hundreds of rounds were recovered from their possession. The CTD and police personnel have surrounded the area and launched a search operation.

The dead terrorists have been identified as Zakirullah son of Aashiq Khan, resident of Warsak Road in Peshawar, Irfanullah son of Laiq Shah, resident of Khajuri Bara in Khyber distrist, Saqib son of Wilayat Khan, resident of Habibzai Adizai Matni and Asad son of Mashal Khan, resident of Habibzai Matni.
