CTD arrests 5 alleged target killers in Karachi
KARACHI: Law enforcement agencies have arrested five alleged target killers in Karachi.
Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officials have claimed that the alleged target killers belong to MQM London and that the target killers are close associates of Ajmal Pahari and Kashif David.
According to the CTD, the accused have also received training from the Indian intelligence agency. The suspects were arrested during three separate raids.
Two months ago, police in Quaid-e-Azam claimed to have arrested two alleged target killers involved in the killing of several people, including policemen.
According to police, the accused were also wanted in the murder of two Education Department officers in Karachi.
According to Counter Terrorism Police, both the target killers were arrested from the Pak Colony area. The accused belonged to Muttahida Qaumi Movement London.
