CTD apprehends terrorist involved in murder of 14 people
KARACHI: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in an operation near Ayesha Manzil in Karachi arrested a terrorist of a banned outfit embroiled in killing of 14 people.
CTD officials said that the terrorist Ali Raza, affiliated with Sipah e Muhammad, had fled abroad after the arrest of his other accomplices. The suspect had come back and was organising boys for terrorism in Pakistan. Weapons have also been recovered from his possession, while an accomplice of Ali Raza has already been arrested.
According to the CTD, the accused had gunned down Tahir Mullah within the limits of Timoriya police station, two people at a medical store in Sharifabad and shot dead two people in a car in Timoriya area in separate incidents.
He had shot dead a man at a photo estate shop in Sharifabad. In Khawaja Ajmer Nagri area, he had opened fire on a mosque, killing eight worshipers.
