 Cricket heroes celebrate Pakistan Day at Gaddafi Stadium

Pakistan Day is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in all cities across the country, Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore is also gleaming with Pakistani flags on the occasion of Pakistan Day.

The third day of the last Test match against Australia has been named as Pakistan Day on the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) social media account.

The PCB has shared a video on its social media account showing that the game started with the national anthem of Pakistan on the occasion of March 23 where both the teams were seen standing on the ground in honor of the national anthem.

PCB has also shared pictures of the players celebrating Pakistan Day. In the pictures, national team captain Babar Azam, fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah and other players can be seen standing holding flags.

Yesterday, the PCB had announced to celebrate Pakistan Day with cricket fans.

According to the announcement of PCB, 2500 flags will be distributed among the spectators at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore today while these flags will be given to the cricket fans by PCB Chairman Rameez Raja himself.

The PCB had further said in its announcement that, domestic and foreign commentators would dress in green and white on the occasion of Pakistan Day.
