COVID restrictions imposed in Peshawar, Abbottabad

Restrictions have been imposed in two districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to the fourth wave of coronavirus.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Home Department issued restraining orders for Peshawar and Abbottabad. The restrictions would be imposed from August 3 to 31.
According to the details, business centers in Peshawar and Abbottabad will shut down at 8pm. Business activities will be closed two days a week. Transport will run with 50% capacity. Offices will work with 50% attendance.
Restaurants will only be open until 10pm with outdoor dining, whereas takeaway and home delivery service will continue 24 hours a day. Indoor weddings will be banned from August 8. Indoor culture, music and religious gatherings and sports activities will be banned.

Amusement parks, water sports and swimming pools will remain closed. While, public parks will remain open under strict Corona SOPs and indoor gymnasiums will be open for those who have received coronavirus vaccine.
