 COVID-19 updates: 3,449 new cases, 40 deaths reported

Pakistan has reported 40 deaths and 3,449 new cases in the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Center, the total numbers of deaths from the virus have reached to 13,757.

The total count of active cases is 27,188. The positivity ratio was recorded at 8.04 per cent during the past 24 hours.

Moreover, A total of 42,845 tests were conducted across the country during this period.

Pakistan has started its vaccination drive and in the second phase 60 years old people are being vaccinated as vaccination centers have been established across the country.
